When I register a team, what happens next?
Phase 1 - Receive Mission Package

You'll receive a complete package of lesson plans, self-directed learning videos, supplies and equipment. Then for the next several weeks you'll engage your students in mission sessions for a few hours a week either in your class room, extracurricular clubs, student-driven learning (via self-directed learning videos) or some combination of these learning options.
If you would like some outside assistance with conducting mission sessions, for an extremely reasonable fee, we can provide an Alien CSI mission facilitator to come to your school or organization and lead the mission sessions.
Phase 2 - Preliminary Competition

Now that your students have had time to ramp up their learning in astrophysics, biologists, encryption, chemical analysis, navigation and other applied STEM disciplines, they now have the opportunity to compete to determine who will be the team to represent your school or organization at the Regional Competition.

Again, if you would like some outside assistance with conducting a Preliminary Competition (YES! for an extremely reasonable fee) we can provide an Alien CSI Tournament Manager to come to your school or organization and lead your school/organization's Preliminary Competition.
Phase 3 - Bring Your A-Game to Regionals!

Once you have identified the team to represent your school or organization at the Regional Tournament, they will be given additional hacks, suggestions and optional research to prepare for the Regional Competition.
If additional team slots are available, you may enter an additional team on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, this is based on availability and providing all schools and organizations equal opportunity to participate
