You've probably heard about the kid who could have discovered the cure for cancer, but never got the opportunity.  We'd like to believe  one of our kids will be one of those geniuses. But for now, we're happy to see the ostracized kid's eyes come alive when they've found their "thing", or the girl getting her braids dirty and loving it, Yes, increasing interest in STEM careers and diversifying the workplace are important goals and yes we're doing our part.

But, when it really comes down to it, it's the little things that

put a tear in our eye and choke us up.
